Dot is the Chair of the Whanganui District Health Board, Chair of the MidCentral District Health Board, is a member of the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal, is a Rotarian and has property interests in Whanganui and Wellington.
Dot is married to Richard and together they have seven children.
